The VDL 10-Year Studio Care Commitment

Every MODA and NEVE floor includes a complimentary top coat of the original finish (plant-extract oil or urethane), claimable whenever you choose during your first ten years. Your installer handles surface prep and application; the studio supplies the finish.

Coverage begins on the original VDL invoice date. Floors must be registered within 60 days of installation; a spec builder may transfer coverage once to the first homeowner within 60 days of closing. Full terms are in the warranty document above.

Plant-extract oil

— Dry-sweep or vacuum with a soft floor head.
— Damp-mop with warm, lightly soapy water and dry immediately; never wet-mop or leave standing moisture.
— Renew with compatible oil when the surface looks dry or worn.

MODA · NEVE

Urethane

— Dry-sweep or vacuum with a soft floor head.
— Clean with a cleaner compatible with the urethane system.
— Screen and recoat when traffic lanes dull — never wax.

FORMA · TERRA

Factory UV lacquer

— Dry-sweep or vacuum with a soft floor head.
— Clean with a pH-neutral hardwood cleaner.
— Avoid oil soaps, waxes, and steam mops.

Natural character

Every board is its own

European oak and American walnut carry knots, mineral streaks, and grain movement that make each floor singular. Because our studio finishes work with the wood itself, tone varies board to board and lot to lot. For MODA and NEVE, we approve a control sample with you before production so the finished floor matches what you signed off on.
